The purpose of this Drug and Alcohol Policy is to outline the minimum requirements to be observed to ensure employees and contractors are in a fit condition to carry out their duties without endangering others. It will help you establish a workplace and work practices that reduce the risks associated with medical conditions, fatigue, and drugs and alcohol. It will also help you to support employees who need advice or help in such matters in a sensitive and confidential manner.
